Minerals are basic materials that contribute a lot for development of modern civilization. We can not think of further progress of our society without minerals or ores. But how these materials got this shape,size and composition as it is dug out from mines? In which process these (iron ores, bauxite ores, Galena etc) were formed from pure metals or from impure rocks/sands?

Here is my answer in clear terms:
There are no pure metals (minerals) in nature!
You will find more or less other trace elements in every natural mineral (metal).
Each mineral is formed (depending on stability conditions, conditions of formation) by the dissolution of existing crystals and/or rock glass and subsequent precipitation / crystallization.
Rocks consisting of minerals, and/or glass, and fluid phase.
Minerals are types of crystals that were formed in nature without human intervention.

There is no process like formed from pure metals.
All the minerals/ metals we get are from different rocks formed at geological settings.
Ore of a metal/ mineral is a naturally occurring solid material from which a metal or valuable mineral can be extracted profitably.
Bauxite is an ore of Aluminium, It forms by alteration of aluminium rich rocks such as Khondalites-Kodurites.
Kimberlites which form at great pressure, at greater depth of Earth are source rocks for Diamonds.
Each mineral/ metal forms in a suitable host rock which forms at certain pressure-temperature.
Some minerals, which are resistant to weathering are released to beach/ stream sediments due to alteration of host rock
The subject of ore genesis is wide.
Thank you, Latha for your answer with ore genesis, please give one idea in above terms stating whether ores are formed from enrichment of less concentrated rocks/deposits or degraded from pure metals. Which mode of formation of ores is most plausible?
