The latest issue of International Journal of Complexity in Applied Science and Technology (Vol.1 No.3, 2025) presents several promising advancements in AI-driven solutions for complex problems. I found Emir Oncu’s paper on integrating CNNs and ANNs for enhanced breast cancer detection particularly noteworthy (DOI: 10.1504/IJCAST.2025.145833).

Combining convolutional networks for image feature extraction with artificial neural networks for classification can significantly improve diagnostic accuracy in medical imaging. I look forward to more performance benchmarks and real-world validations of this hybrid approach.
