AI finds its place in the stages of clinical trials, such as searching knowledge bases (Cochrane, Medline), statistical analysis, generation of text of scientific articles, increasing both the speed and quality of clinical trials. AI develops diagnostic algorithms whose accuracy and efficiency often exceeds that of the doctor. The Cognitive Digital Twin (CDT), through digital simulations of different patient populations, therapeutic interventions and disease scenarios, leads to personalized medicine as opposed to treating the "average patient".
There is no doubt about the role of AI in the field of medicine in leaps and bounds. The development of new combinations of amino acids and the generation of new protein and associated functionality through AI would help to find out the drugs for different diseases ( Noble Prize, 2025).

Dear Ljubomir Jacić , although Valeria Salviti has raised the current and important issue of acceptance of artificial intelligence in medicine, the period from 2022 to 2025 is the era of AI expansion. Generative AI is faster and more accurate in imaging, able to detect preclinical changes. My research interests are in curative medicine and public health. AI decision algorithms in diagnosis and therapy, derived from machine learning and deep learning, are a black box, nobody knows how the decision is made. Despite the greater efficiency of diagnosis compared to a doctor, the consequences of errors are more serious. Who is responsible for the decision? Can AI replace a doctor? There is currently a trend towards Explainable AI (XAI), which is important in the context of acceptance.
Artificial intelligence will never replace a doctor, but augment his activities in medicine.
