At every progression step elementary particles emit wave fronts. These wave fronts combine into ultra-high frequency waves. On their turn these waves constitute the potentials of the particle. The contribution of the wave front to the potential is described by the Green's function of the potential.

When the particle suddenly lowers its energy, then the UHF wave gets modulated. The modulated wave is a photon.
