I am trying to simulate the two miscible liquid inside a chamber by using Ansys Fluent. One fluid is water and another one is ethyl-acetate. I have defined the region for ethyl-acetate at t=0 time. Please check the attached image file. In the image, the red portion is the region for the ethyl-acetate and water is only liquid which is entering into the inlet. I also want to use the diffusion coefficient to dissolve ethyl-acetate into water. Which multiphase model do I have use to solve this problem?

I don`t know the solubility of Ethyl acetate in water, but if they are miscible, your problem is one/single-phase flow! You have only one phase (a mixture) with variable composition: water + et-ac. But at inlet the MASS FRACTION of et-ac is 0, and water 1. An in the red region, opposite, mf.water =0 and mf.et-ac=1. Into the domains, the concentrations will be distributed according to the flow pattern and turbulent dispersion.
It is a multi-component flow, not a multiphase. There is only a set of momentum equations to the mixture, and one transport equation to one of the components, the second one is calculated based on sum(mass fractions ) =1, that is, ( N-1) transport equation for N chemical species.
All fluid properties are mixture properties (ideal rules or not). There is no need for a multiphase model because there is no two-phase flow. hence, there a compiling among momentum and chemical species transport equations.
With a two-phase flow there is an interface, and onto the interface, mass transfer, e.g. air-water flow with O2 transfer to the water.

I have tried with one phase method to solve this problem. However, I was not getting any option to specify the region for Ethyl-acetate.
My idea is that to use Two-phase model with turn on the species transport. Is this option is right or not?
