Not quite sure what you mean. Self focussing is a nonlinear effect and so will depend on the intensity of the light.

I have never done it, but I imagine that, for a given optical set up, focussing in a material at low intensity, for which the focussing conditions depend on the refractive index of the material, you then allow the refractive index to be intensity dependent and then recalculate the parameters.
