Many ecotoxicological assays with microplastics in aquatics organisms conclude that no significant effect is seen when applying realistic MP concentrations. For this reason, the choice of concentration ranges tend to be quite wide. It will also depend on whether you are evaluating mortality LC50, for example, or biomarkers/genotoxicity.
