Dear Palash Dhali ,

the abbreviation 'h2D' stands for 'holey 2-dimensional ' structure; i.e. an atomic layer, which contains holes in the two-dimensional structure.

See for example Fig. 1 in:

Article Nitrogenated holey two-dimensional structures

But, sorry, this is only an example. I do not know the paper, in which this abbreviation was introduced for the first time...
