Nature: "The period 1800 to 800 Ma (“Boring Billion”) is believed to mark a delay in the evolution of complex life, primarily due to low levels of oxygen in the atmosphere."
The descriptions fit, but which unit is correct, "Ga" or "Ma"? Can anybody explain it, please? Thanks.

.Does that mean Wikipedia (Ga) is right with reference to the Boring Billion? I am writing an article on how the period was not at all boring, based on new research, and I am confused.
