I humbly request all researchers to avoid it and confine to Request for Full-Text. How does a reader know whether a research paper is within the limits of his/her grasp unless he/she sees the Abstract?
Thank you all for the answers. Arriving at a consensus with regard to the question would be quite valid for the RG researchers and RG itself, since it concerns all researchers and readers. I would like to request you to share this question to expand its reach within RG. I feel all RG researchers should see this question.
I feel this question should be more widely shared, because it concerns every member of RG. One sad thing about RG is that most of the voices here are unheard. Millions of researchers are invisible. You open RG everyday, and you see the same stuff "selected for you" (which has nothing to do with your domain of interest), and the same recommendations to some article by people whom you don't follow or who don't follow you. There are millions of researechers at RG, but you see/hear only a few of them, on this page, like members in your neighbourhood forever. I can reel off the names of most of the people I see everyday when I enter RG. And this restriction in anyway is not related to my activity or movement inside RG or my profile. Where are the millions? What is going on?
