Generative AI in its very childhood and with its currently very limited potential can create (or at least perfectly mimic or steal) art or code as excellent as human's art or code etc., if not better. I for one see no bright future for (human) creativity once "creative" AI becomes too powerful, too available, and too economic --which is probably just a few years later.
Almost no creative humans will be eager to do creative work anymore, because their hard work will be bested by AI in milliseconds. AI will do it all. AI will even have its own ideas.
Gen AI is simply a tool wielded by a creator. Hence, Gen AI creates what the imagination of the creator intended, or at least something close. Read artificial cognitive architectures found at Springer publishing. There you will find some of the concepts which can mayne make a difference.
John N. Carbone Thanks for your input. I created my own AI program 20-22 years ago and published a small part of it in 2009. So I am not unfamiliar with AI concept.

Sure, I didn't say it isn't. My point is that with such a strong "creative" tool, any mediocre person can become a very powerful painter, musician, programmer, writer, etc., hence, the age of mediocrity and death of originality and creativity.
There used to be a time when we enjoyed masterpieces and admired their extraordinary creators. But no more. Anybody can become a fake genius.
