For a textile testing lab, what research can be incorporated besides performing simply testing for clients? Areas of interest: fastness/color fading (light, wash,...), testing methods/standards,...
How can the service be enhanced for industry clients besides just giving them results for the requested tests. Research that can undertaken to provide educated advices for product improvements.
I Believe we have some categories of testing
"Standard" properties, like lenght, gsm, shrinkage
Colorfastness
Mechanical properties (bursting, snnaging, etc)
Chemical properties (Water pH, drip difusion, etc)
Before talking about the testing needed, is important definy what will be the application of this fabric, "normal" use, sport, medical area, industry applications, security applications, Upholstery, etc.
