Hello Researchers,

I want to study the difference in power consumption when you run homogeneous workloads and heterogeneous workloads. I will use phoronix-test-suite for benchmarks. when i run phoronix-test-suite system-sensors on my ubuntu server, Phoronix test suite says the following sensors are unsupported,

CPU Fan Speed

- CPU Power Consumption

- CPU Voltage

- GPU Fan Speed

- GPU Frequency

- GPU Power Consumption

- GPU Usage

- GPU Voltage

- Drive Temperature

- System Fan Speed

- System Power Consumption

- System V12 Voltage

- System V3 Voltage

- System V5 Voltage

Does it mean all these sensors are unavailable, if yes, how will i read system energy consumption when i run my benchmarks.

my hardware and software is shown below:

Hardware:

Processor: Intel Core i7-4790 @ 4.00GHz (8 Cores), Motherboard: HP 1905, Chipset: Intel 4th Gen Core DRAM, Memory: 12288MB, Disk: 1000GB Western Digital WD10EZEX-60M, Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GT 610 2048MB, Audio: Realtek ALC221, Monitor: HP V193, Network: Intel Connection I217-LM

Software:

OS: Ubuntu 16.04, Kernel: 4.4.0-124-generic (x86_64), Desktop: Unity 7.4.5, Display Driver: modesetting 1.18.4, Compiler: GCC 5.4.0 20160609, File-System: ext4, Screen Resolution: 1366x768

Kind Regards,
