Hi research community, I am interested to focus my research on Sustainability transition for SMEs from a management perspective. I will appreciate any suggestion about the topic and where to start to explore. Thank you in advanced.
You have chosen an excellent topic. The transition to a sustainable approach in SMEs must begin with a process of cultural transformation. The company must be committed to the idea and it must be part of its "DNA", therefore, my suggestion is that you start by exploring the relationship between the corporate culture of the SMEs and sustainability.
Thank you very much for your answer and suggestion. Definitely, the cultural transformation is a key element to start this transition. I am totally agree with you in this regard. The idea to explore first the relationship between corporate culture of SMEs and sustainability sounds interesting. I think it is a good point to start. Thank you for your suggestions once again. It helps me a lot.
Thank you Julio Estanislao Cuc , and like Félix Oscar Socorro Márquez is pointing out, (it must become a part of the "DNA"). And to become a part of the DNA of the company, It must be committed, and the way or at least one way (due to my experiences I must add) for it to become committed is that someone in the management team owns the issue in question
I am totally agree dear Stefan Lindstrom and I think it must be part of the leadership of the company, starting from the top managers and leadership positions within the company, promoting a culture and values as Félix Oscar Socorro Márquez stated. Thank you for your opinion.
