I guess there is another fake one created by the same fellows who misused Adalya journal with same ISSN.

Now I have received a mail and the details as follows:

I suspect its authenticity because of the following reasons.

1. They say they will publish paper at the cost of Rs. 3000/-. A Good journal will not speak much about payment and never highlight its payment policy.

2. No foreign journal will advertise the UGC symbol (with a note on UGC Approved Journal) on its website as the UGC CARE LIST is the internal issue of our country (India).

3. Even if a journal is indexed in SCOPUS, they will just place the word SCOPUS under the Indexed button and never highlight too much by pasting a picture on source details.

4. A Truly SCOPUS indexed journal will never give its acceptance just in 48 hours as they will prefer thorough peer-review which will take a minimum of 3 months to 12 months and/or above.

5.Most importantly, if they are genuine, they should give their contact details with numbers under contact us (landline/mobile no.s etc.)

I guess someone is misusing the names of the foreign journals with no proper contact details. Better we complain to the Cyber Crime branch of the Police Dept to avoid further loss.

Unfortunately most of the victims are the scholars and the faculty from the colleges and universities in India as we are all restlessly running for publications in UGC-CARE listed journals as the UGC considered only UGC-CARE listed journals be used for recruitment and CAS.

Please be aware and cross check thoroughly before you do any payment for publication and most importantly if we publish our paper in a fake journal, we can't publish the same paper in another journal which may be genuine one as the content of the already published paper will be reflected under plagiarism.

So, let's be very careful!

Well spotted. Indeed the “Journal of Xidian University” you mentioned is (another) sad example of a hijacked journal. The genuine journal is a subscription based journal in Chinese language only. The little real info you can find online is:

The site you mentioned includes numerous red flags (as you said the mentioned costs in a currency that is strange if you claim to be international and is an attempt to mislead Indian researchers).

The most disturbing part of this story is that Scopus (that tries to presents itself as a well-respected and trustful service) is polluted with wrong information: they mention the wrong homepage!

The real journal has virtually no presence online and unfortunately their internal ‘quality’ checks didn’t spot this.

Yes sir, the domain of the Journal of Xidian University created on 1.2.2020 which is after June 2019, so this is a fake journal. Thank you @ Bhav Singh sir for your useful information.

@ Mohammed Shoeab Sheikh Sir the website you mentioned is fake. I have reported same to UGC Care and Scopus Help Center. But no action was taken.

Regarding journal of xidian university. The paper published in the above said fake links are getting indexed in scopus and the citations are being counted. Definitely this is a predatory journal but how come the link could be fake. Any points on this regard.
