The surface area of graphene is known to be 2630 m^2/g.
However, my question is, whether this amount refers to sum of upper and lower surfaces of graphene? or of only one surface ?
please clarify...
This is for one side only. For both sides, just multiply by 2 and for intercalation in N-layer graphene , just multiply by N or 2N depending on the inner structure.

I have another doubt, what is considered when measuring the surface area of ACTIVATED CARBON ?????, since, in general activated carbon has so many surfaces.

How do people calculate the surface area of activated carbon, which surfaces they consider, out of its many surfaces ???.
For activated carbon you should do adsorption of CO2 in order to measure the microporosity
