Today's network security is mainly based on public-key cryptography. It is expected that these algorithms will be faster to break for attackers with quantum computers. Especially in case of collecting vehicle data in central storage systems, which could be used to support autonomous driving or to solve crimes, security plays a major role. This raises the question of the application of Post-Quantum Cryptography. In which time frame are realizations seen and also the costs of the application?

Thanks for providing the useful information. A small problem, it seems that the QI offers "quantum-secure quantum-secure symmetric encryption that’s 18x faster than AES-256. that’s 18x faster than AES-256." But they didn't provide the name of the symmetric encryption. My opinion is public key cryptography needs much more attention than symmetric encryption.

Symmetric encryption security ramifications with QC are easier to anticipate indeed. Asymmetric encryption security would require a more elaborated analysis.
