Atrazine herbicide as pre- emergence is very effective for control of Trianthema weed in sorghum. If farmers skip pre emergence application , the field is full of this weed at around 25-30 DAS. So kindly suggest post emergence herbicides for fodder sorghum, keeping in view the first cut at around 70-75 DAS.
Grichar (1993) reported more than 75% control with five post-emergence herbicides alone or in combination (e.g. acifluorfen, acifluorfen plus bentazon, pyridate plus 2,4 DB and lactofen) Although these measures can control the weed on a small scale, they are not feasible for large infestations or infestations in environmentally sensitive areas.

Whether tembotrione or topramezone herbicide can be applied as post emergence in Sorghum without any phytotoxicity ?
Suggest dose and time of application of herbicides without any residual effect on succeeding crops.
