Hi Everyone,
If we want to pick products from a conveyor belt and use suction principle, how much pressure do we need and how do we calculate?
For ex: the mass of the product is approx 50g and area of the suction cup(rectangular so l = 110mm and b=40mm). How much Safety factor to consider and should we also include co-efficient of friction?

Your load is very small so you should not need a very large cup or very high vacuum, especially if the object is smooth, flat, and rigid.
