Can you please help me regarding the inductive behavior of transverse slots in SIW based LWAs. Thanks a lot in advance. See the attached image

i think, the inductive property is due to effective charges(voltage) across the length of the slot. if effective voltage is across width of the slot it will show capacitive nature.
