However I believe that it must exist a strategy for building an information system and not a start as an assumption.
Information systems should in part be built based on concepts and strategies. On one hand, among the concepts is that information systems are drivers of an effective management. On the other hand, strategies should be integral part of information planning.
The main social problem involved is to convert technical information into human knowledge for value creation. Without effective and efficient learning processes (deutero or double loop), it is not possible to select valuable knowledge out of the information iceberg. The temporal information gap between strategy and planning matters; the weather does not only depend on the weather forecast.
Developing a strategic information plan is an essential step for companies that want to realize the advantages of today's information technology.
Its a vital and important subject and achievement leads to shortening a lot of time and effort.
