My work is on cadmium sulfide nanoparticles. Is there any issue in the storage of it before characterization? if yes, then what are the precautions should be taken?
in the following paper you can find a interesting methods for CdS nanoparticles storage before their characterization:
Synthesis and Characterization of CdS Nanoparticles Stabilized by Double-Hydrophilic Block Copolymers
Limin Qi, Helmut Cölfen, Markus Antonietti
Nano Lett., 1 2, 61-65 (2001)
In this case, a stable CdS colloidal solutions were stored at 10 °C in the dark and were characterized normally after 24 h of aging because the preliminary optical measurements have showed that the absorption and fluorescence characteristics of the obtained colloidal dispersions show a minor change within the first 24 h and then remained essentially unchanged for at least 2 months.
