Dear researchers,
I have downloaded BreuschPaganAndKoenkerTest.sps file and wanted to add it in the Analyze/Regression tool of SPSS version 23 but when i go through the utillities/install local extention bundles i could only find the .spe file option only.
How can i add .sps plugin in this case so that i could get BreuschPaganAndKoenkerTest inside Analyze/regression?
It is possible to contact the establishment or the responsible company. I do not expect to disturb a guest for a ready program

The .sps extension of that test is a syntax, so you have to run it in 3 steps: (1) you run the macro at the start of the .sps file, (2) you replace with your own data in section 2 of the .sp.s, and (3) you run the macro at the end.
There is maybe a "trick" that you can get the Breusch Pagan test and the modified Breusch Pagan test without any external programs, but I am not sure, if this was already implemented in SPSS 23, so no guarantee that it works.
Instead of doing the regression analysis with the "regression" dialogue, go to "general linear model" and "univariate", how you would normally do a factorial AN(C)OVA. Just drag your metric predictors to "covariables". Now, under "options" you can call the "parameter estimation", so that the output will show you additionally the typical regression output. Also under options you can call the Bresuch Pagans tests AND you can also call robust standard errors HC1 to HC4, if heteroscedasticity is given.
So, I hope it is also implemented in SPSS 23. Otherwise you could update to a later version?
Rainer Duesing No i didnt find Bresuch Pagans tests under the "options" in SPSS23.
