If I were to build a spin coater for coating organic solar cells, what are the desirable specifications with regard to speeds and acceleration values for obtaining good coatings?
In step 3 , when the spin coater is accelerated for a second time, what is the need for such acceleration? Would it not cause non-uniform film thickness? Could you please elaborate?
In step 3 accn is to increase the rpm linearly sudden increase in rpm may cause more material loss from the substrate which may ulimatly reduce the film thickness and introduce non uniformity in the film here we increasing the rpm for drying the film which is an important step in spin coating process.
