What is your experience with the speed of review in various bioinformatic journals?
Bioinformatic (Oxford) is good, the editors finish the normal round of review in a month (at least it was at the end of 2014).
How about BMC Bioinformatics, PLoS Comp Bio, Briefings in Bioinformatics, NAR or other alternatives? Plus good or bad editorial experiences?
We would like to have relatively fast processing for a manuscript on a specific next-gen/genomic IT technology. Merci in advance! :)
The review process for my last paper took almost four months in BMC genomics, although, the editorial team is very professional.

The research on Bioinformatics is increasing tremendously. All reputed Journals either will charge heavily or may not accept without experimental proof (wet lab).
