welded joint of 38 mm diameter and 4 mm thick alloy steel tubes needs to be examined for torsion strength. I need to know what is the standard procedure of specimen preparation and appropriate standard for torsion testing of the same

Hi, you can prepare for acc. E 2207 – 02. This standard is for fatigue tests.
