Many students in our universities and colleges complain about wearing uniforms of particular colours chosen by the Ministry. Are you with or against wearing fixed uniforms??
I think some colleges still live in the old era and forget that extreme power is no longer a power. We should strike a balance between Universities and students. You cannot force an adult against his own will, you will transform University to a prison.
I think Universities should focus more on research than on the clothes of students.
Below average University focus on the little things instead of the big picture
Again, universities should focus on communication and attracting talent. It is not a high school
Uniform as perks:
In some large organizations or college, it is considered as an honor and a kind of perk to receive uniform. This results in considerable conservation of time and energy of a child, as he doesn’t have to choose again and again the clothes to be worn at the college. Also a lot of money is saved since rarely will that students will be buying new clothes.
A sense of belonging.
If everyone wears the same clothes to the university, then they share a feeling of commonness and belonging, which other wise gets very difficult to achieve.
Uniform develop a feeling of equality:
Uniform brings every one to the same platform, no matter how rich or poor he or she is and thus inculcating a feeling of equality amongst those wearing the uniform.
Uniform help in Mutual growth:
People wearing uniform are more caring for their fellows, they care not only for their growth but the growth of their peers as well. Uniforms are very important and fosters traits which are very necessary for a person as an individual and an organization as a whole to thrive and prosper.
For me, the focus must be on the scientific level of students not those “extra” matters
I think this suites lower level classes and not for higher education.
The interest in university degrees and raising the scientific values and progress in dealing with others is much more important than the emphasis on wearing specific costumes.
Most of the colleges and universities do not have these rules in my region.
The dress code is based on the guidelines of the institution. Uniforms are compulsory for under graduates and relaxed afterwards in my state. However, few departments in my university has dress code, like Management department, law department etc.

If we are in this universities or schools we should respect the rules
