For sure, immersing a high-frequency quartz crystal in a viscous fluid will cause massive damping of the acoustic wave emitted by the crystal. In turn, this will generate acoustic streaming (or "quartz wind").

Can you make your question more precise ? Frequency of crystal, viscosity of liquid ? And what are your requirements in using this quartz ?

The frequency of crystal is 9M Hz, and the viscosity of liquid is 50 CP.

I want to make a sensor that is made of crystal to detect liquid .
