Microwave reduction of GO drop casted on glass slide or annealing of spin coated graphene/DMF solution results in powdered graphene on film.None of them seem to bind graphene to the slide.Any suggestions?
It well known that graphene is not easily attached to glass substrate. To get uniform and adhere graphene thin film on glass substrate, you must to pre-treat it
You may try spray coating method. This should be better than annealing or spin coating techniques specially on top of glass substrate. I am not absolutely sure, but as I can remember, it worked for me. The thing you should be very careful: Do not let the substrate get wet during deposition. I mean, when you spray the solution, the droplet size on the substrate should be very small so that they can't agglomerate each other and make big droplets and make your substrate wet. You can control this parameter by controlling the distance between substrate to nozzle, gas flow rate inside nozzle and substrate temp. Substrate temp is very important here. Keep it slightly higher than the solvent boiling point.
