I cannot open your model because you used a later version than what I have. But why can't the current be negative? It just means that it is flowing in the opposite direction. If you are evaluating using a cutline try to switch Point 1 and Point 2 coordinates and see if it changes the results

Hi, Nichal is right. Check my plot. you sign a positive potential to the terminal 2. Than means current must goes in that way.

The issue of current being positive or negative depends on your frame of reference. In a circuit without any power sources, it's easy to see which direction the current flows and define that direction to be 'positive'. But that's just a convention. Now try putting power sources in your circuit and you'll find currents flowing in the opposite direction. So you might call them 'negative' - but it's just a convention and it certainly isn't stupid to do so!!

Since at zero volt your current is zero, this is a dark curve. As such, this curve is fine (you should just consider to use a different scale on the current axis); that it's negative doesn't mean there is something wrong. The decisive point is a curve simulated for the case of illumination: If the present curve shifts upward (positive photocurrent), everything is fine. However, when it shifts downward, then there is something fundamentally wrong.

Thus, you must have a look at the illuminated case to know whether your program works correctly; the present curve alone doesn't permit to draw that conclusion.
