To assess the socio-economic value of algae is very important to define and characterize the resources that people acquire from nature and then the benefits obtained from the natural processes ecosystems or biochemical processes.
In practice, the assess of socio-economic benefits is a combination of qualitative, quantitative and financial estimates.
Climate conditions, temperature, availability of daylight and nutrients in the water play an important role in the development of algal cultures. All my scientific articles are available on-line in full version if you want more informations. Good luck with your research.
