Although India does not have specific legislation policies on exploitation of natural seaweed resources, the indiscriminate harvesting for the past few decades arises the need to have such policies in place to conserve the resource for sustainable future utilisation. I have been involved in developing framework for such policies and thus would like to know if such legislation policies exists in other parts of the world. Kindly share information.
