Do you know of any project or any device that will help elderly people to use social networks without a computer and without a smart phone? Maybe by using some device connected to the TV?

In my experience, a tablet is the best device to be used by elderly people. The interaction is very direct as you touch what you want on the screen.

I found very interesting both the Mazadoo project and the HIP project.
I will also add to the list the project Eldy (http://www.eldy.org/) which I just became aware of.
In some of those projects, I found interesting, besides the use of the TV, the possibility to interface to facebook with a simpler interface.
