For my masterthesis I'm studying the effect of an information system in hospital context. I wanted to know people's experiences with this information system and decided to use interviews based on GT for this. To identify who to interview I did a stakeholder analysis which gave me several important stakeholder groups to interview. While I do want to ask those different groups the same questions, I'm concerned with the statement that I would need a minimum of 20 interviewees for GT [1]. While in total I will be able to interview more than 20 participants, interviewing 20 'Clinical directors of emergency departments' will be near impossible. The literature read so far doesn't provide me any answer whether interviewing only small samples of specific stakeholder groups is a problem which in total will be over 20 interviews. Has anyone got some advice/literature on this matter? Has anyone got some experience interviewing different stakeholder groups on the same topic?

Kind regards!
