I assume that this is a TSCH network. If this is the case, you can insert the "sleep phase between the individual time slots". My picture shows how this can be realized. See the schedule for node Y.

As can be seen here, the schedule instructs the node what to do in each timeslot - namely: send (Tx), receive (Rx) or sleep (unscheduled cell). A sleep phase with duration N timeslot on one channel (channelOffset) is possible if N cells are not scheduled on the channel between two consecutive scheduled cells (with Tx or Rx).

By changing the "TSCH Schedule Matrix" you can introduce the desired sleep phase.
