I am going to start the numerical simulations for the impact of a liquid drop on a solid surface, both at normal ambient temperature and high surface temperatures, preferably in COMSOL. I was looking for relevant literature when I found some papers regarding thermal coating (drop impact with solidification). These papers proved to be quite helpful to start with.

I am a complete beginner at this point and I need to gather information, as much as possible, like the Governing equations, Boundary conditions, solving methodology, solution steps, etc.

If anybody can suggest me some papers, lectures, modules or any material that can be helpful to me in learning the simulation process of drop impact on solid surfaces, it would be a great help and save me a lot of time and effort.
