Hi,

I want to simulate auutonomos vehicles (AV) at a signle-lane roundabout. The way I want to simulate is that an AV can only enter the roundabout if the previous AV on the circulatroy lane has already left the conflict area PLUS a headway (e.g. 2 seconds).

I have used Conflict Areas in VISSIM and set the FrontGapDef=2. According to VISSIM manual, this parameter is defined as: "Minimum gap time in seconds between the rear end of a vehicle in the main traffic stream and the front end of a vehicle in the minor traffic stream."

So I think this is the parameter that I need. but when I simulate, the entering vehicle wait much more that 2 seconds when entering the rounabout.

How can I simulate this scenario in VISSIM?
