I need help with interpreting a mixed model 3x3 repeated measures ANOVA where the between subjects main effect (patient group) is not statistically significant, yet the within subject effect (time) and the interaction (group*time) are both very significant.

Design in brief: 3 patient groups given different treatment types and assessed at 3 time points using a continuous scale (NIHSS)
