There are many journals open access. Many journals are not open excess. People must be a member of that journal organization or there must be subscription of that journal. Those journals ore not open excess.

Some copyright clearly states that ‘Contributors should not post the Article on open websites or disseminate through an internet to anyone whatsoever’. Though you are not publishing the same article elsewhere (according to copyright act.)

Benefits of open excess publishing…

1. Immediate visibility for research output and thus increased visibility and usage of their results. Open Access may even lead to an increase of impact.

2. Access to literature everywhere, not only from a campus but also from any site with wifi access.

3. Increased access for target audience, financially a more attractive model.

4. Unrestricted access to material, enriched education, allowing equality of learning in poor as well as in rich nations.

5. If it was open access then there publication will get more wide access by the people around the world and publication will get more citation.
