Research Gate is a great hub connecting people working on diverse science disciplines. I think there is an urgent need of RG App for smartphone.This will help in discussions and healthy deliberations esp. while you are sitting ideal in a car/train travel .What is perception of various persons linked on RG in this regard/

well, till now ,only 1 our of 10 researchers has felt no need for RG app, bur 9 persons strongly recommend it.Therefore, if we assume it to be a random sample size, 90 % people are in favor of RG application on smart phone.
I think that either most of people's prefer to go by RG only on desktop and few on smartphone.Though our 9/10, gives a good indicator of the option for RG Smart app but overall I expected that at least 50 people's shall be giving their opinion in a week I.e at least 7 persons a day.What inference can be dream from.this response.

I believe it's high time they (RG team) considered the idea of developing a mobile app for both iOS and Android platforms. This will enable users have access to the community on the go just like LinkedIn. It's worth taking a shot at!.
