We are a non-agricultural country, (located in a desert), so this problem does not exist.
There is very little local production. As for commercial activities, the state made a decision to compel banks and insurance companies to postpone the installments of individuals affected by the Corona pandemic.
In my country(Malaysia), the government reduces the waiver and loan interest and support by subsidies for farmer fruit, vegetable, and paddy.

I think it is a prudent thing to do. However, it depends on how big the loans are to ensure financial institutions also do not incur losses or go bankrupt while trying to please clients

yeah I agreed with you. Corruption has been a devastating problem in Nepal since history. Until and unless this problem eradicated, no public is going to sleep well, and the farmers too.
Sovit Parajuli how can it help the impoverished farmers who wanted to start the completely new farming in their own marginal land? Are you talking on the side of increasing loans for such farmers but reducing to the already hurt farmers?
