I am performing a meta-analysis. I have used corrections for unreliability using distribution of Cronbach alphas and for sampling error.

First, should I correct for unreliability the meta-correlation coefficient since the correlations used are measured for latent variables? Card (2012:134) mentions this special case and states that latent variables are already corrected for unreliability. Thus, should I code 1 in the distribution of alpha for performing my full artefact distribution meta-analysis?

Second, most meta-analyses correct only for unreliability and for sampling error, whereas many other corrections should be performed (Hunter and Schmidt, 2004:95-118; Card, 2012:130). But concerning range restriction correction, how may I obtain the SD unrestricted to compute range restriction ratio for each of my study? May I used the SD of studies randomly drawing their samples from the population?
