Should i check for collinearity between response and explanatory matrice when performing RDA?

I am performing RDA using a matrix of 3 reponse variable and one of 10 explanatory.. I have already checked for collinearity between my explanatory variables but should i also check for collinearity between my reponse and explanatory matrice?
