Should condenser be added in VLE data generation set up in lab?

I am working on designing the set up for lab for generating Vapor - Liquid Equilibrium (VLE) data.

Some paper suggest to provide refluxing before establishing the equilibrium while many other oppose to it as condenser will actually add one more stage and it will be become 2 stage system. Please enlighten me on this.

Please also suggest ideal VLE set up for lab.
