I am coaching the biology club in my kids' high school. They need to prove (or disprove) subcellular co-localization. They did immunofluorescent stain for 2 markers and one nuclear counter stain on the same paraffin section.

They have been suffered from photo bleaching due to lack of experience. So I let them try Qdot to label the 2 markers. My microscope has filter sets for Qdot 525, 585, 655. We are now troubled by that DAPI spectrum is broad and its signal bleeds into channels of Qdot 525, 585 and 655. DAPI and Qdots are excited at 355nm.

I appreciate if you can recommend the nuclear counter stains that may work with any of the two QDot 525/585/655. Thank you very much.
