Hi all,
I would like to do an analysis to identify a trend in postpartum haemorrhage. The data I am going to use is routinely collected data of all birth at a hospital from 2003-2022.
I want to identify how PPH changes over the last 20 years. However, I don't really know how I can calculate the sample size for this type of analysis (to identify the trend). If I use data on all births during that period, how can we know that it is enough for the analysis?

What else are you going to do? You can calculate the power at the end and if it is not what you wanted simply say there's no more to study. David Booth
