Ermenek in Karaman Province/Turkey is situated at 36°38'23.67''N 32°53'31.26''E; see Google Earth. There is a large water reservoir of Göksu River ca. 3.5 km south of Ermenek in Ermenek Valley, so fish records from Ermenek would probably originate there, or from the river flowing in and out of the reservoir.
As Ronald Fridge mentioned, many branches of the Göksu River and some of the Akgöl Lake Basin are located within the borders of Karaman province. If you want to get detailed information, you can download the final report of the project with the Ministry.
Of course, there are endemic species Cyprinidae and Noemacheilidae. We also studied the taxonomic status of some species and their population structure.
