Dear all,

I've been told that, in the context of LIB with alloying nanoparticles, upon lithiation and delithiation, after discharge, a fraction of lithium remains in the nanoparticles. I've been trying to search the literature on the topic, but searching for residual lithium (or similar variations of this search key) brings me always to the formation of lithium-related byproducts such as Lioh or li2O on the surface of the NPS, which is not what I'm looking for.

Does any of you have insights on the process I'm looking for?

Thanks

Best

Bruno
