Should we ask RG to do a button for New Research that we can post on the site de novo, and then take comments, as an open peer review mechanism?

Dear Fazleh Mahomed , perfect idea and I hope RG will make this happen very soon. It is a good solution for us who try to work on unconventional disciplines (multidisciplinary fields) and also good to avoid APC from business oriented and bureaucratic publishers. However, there could be many challenges as this way of making publication could easily be liable to fraud and abuse. But still, anyone has the right to write and publish his own work and should be peer reviewed and sited if other authors find it has contributed some value. I was thinking about it for a while...so, RG needs to device suitable, safe and controllable interactive tools to make this system be implemented genuinely.

This open research web publication will lead to open peer review- and is much tougher than the current limited peer review mechanism.
It also puts the author directly in the firing line.
As long as people remain respectful in their questions, I think this might easily replace the current flawed system of journal publication.
Web publishing is forever...
If new research is submitted, then local; ethics approval must have been obtained.
Until such time that we can get a global ethics approval mechanism going or until we get a ResearchGate ethics approval team going.....
