I have come across two cases of problems caused or exacerbated by a stroke. In one case the individual is prompted to express extreme anger or laughter and is trying to sort out how to control it as something that, throughout the person's life, has seemed uncontrollable and only a little having to do with the outside world in the sense in which it's triggered by a belief that the person has (at odds with the reality but nonetheless strongly held) . In another case, the person lost control of one side of the body and was able to redirect in a way that enabled the person to become extremely successful contrary to popular belief. . There's a name for the disease in the first case,,,PBA. But I wonder if there should be a name for how one succeeds in handling it? I have no idea if there are studies in the area of neuro-health, just thought these two cases very intresting. as a research topic,

both cases involve men.

I think, it is more an psychiatiric issue than a neurosurgical or even neuro-oncological! I pursue a career in Neurosurgery, therefor only in this field.
